Jackson’s preschool fieldtrip this month was to Cornbellys at Thanksgiving Point. What a fun place to go. They have such wonderful outdoor activites for the kids. They have a big jump tramp, trains, slides, pig races, hayrides, corn mazes and much more. The kids had an absolute blast. It is so fun to see Jackson play with his little preschool buddies. He is such a nice kid, and I sure am proud of who he is turning into. Their favorite was the hayride where they were taken to a pumkin patch and able to pick out a pumpkin! Miss Denise thinks of the best fieldtrips for these kids. It was another fabulous outing with my children. I think we spent 3 hours there and could have stayed more if they weren’t so hungry. I will definitely have to take the kids back there again next year, and maybe start making this a tradition of ours to do in the fall.

Last week a friend of mine called and said she had some extra passes for the Discover Gateway in Salt Lake. This is our children’s museum. I was really excited to take the boys there, I have always wanted to, and was excited when my friend called. She has a little boy that is Eli’s age and we always talk about getting them together to play but just haven’t yet, so this was perfect. The boys had so much fun exploring and playing with all the toys. They really enjoyed the ball chute, and also playing construction. Eli loved looking at the helicopter they had available to explore, but once Jackson pushed the button to make the real helicopter noise, it freaked E out a little bit and wouldn’t get in. But he loved looking at it. (Eli is obsessed with helicopters and motorcycles). They also loved playing cashier at the grocery store. The people at Discover Gateway have done an excellent job keeping the place clean. I was very impressed. I think we spent a good two hours there just chasing our kids as they went from on exhibit to the next. What a great afternoon.
