This is a photo of my father in law, Ed Mayne. He passed away yesterday after battling lung cancer this year. He was at home with his family and he went peacefully which is what we wanted for him. He was a wonderful man. One in a million. He was the AFL-CIO President of Utah and also a State Senator for West Valley City in the Salt Lake valley. He devoted his life to serving people.
I was fortunate enough to marry into the family and to get to know the man at home. He loved his family more than anything. He was excited to be a Grandpa and adored his grandchildren. Paul and I have spent many hours in our marriage with his parents. He was kind, compassionate, generous, and when he loved you, he loved you with all he had. I love him very much and am honored I could be his daughter for the past 6 or so years. He will be deeply missed!!!!
