Quite a Day
So today has been a very eventful day. Jack woke up with a raging fever, and told me his throat hurt. I looked and sure enough, his throat was incredibly red. I made a Dr. appointment and Paul said he would work from home to watch Eli. Eli is in a HUGE mom and dad phase. He cried for 40 min last Friday night for my mother in law. He sees her all the time. So after that, the boys wanted to take a shower. So Eli was out if his diaper for literally less than a minute and managed to go to the bathroom all over the floor. Not pee either. He also walked in it and smeared it into the carpet. So after cleaning that up and washing the boys off, and getting them dressed, I was putting the clothes into the washer, and I walk out, and there is a lady from my ward standing in my front hallway. Jackson was sweet enough to open the door when he heard some knocking. However, I was not quite appropriately dressed, and shrieked an apology and hid. She just laughed and handed me the paper she brought over for me. How horribly embarrassing. After that, I took Jackson to the Dr. and found out he has strep throat (the first time one of the boys have had this) and has been running a fever of 102-103 for the past few days. My poor sick little man. He is on really strong antibiotics and should be getting better. Now I just have to watch Eli for similar symptoms since he apparently is just old enough in his young age to contract strep throat. I am going to the temple this evening with the Young Women, and I am sure this will turn my day right side up!!!!
