This year Paul and I will celebrate 10 years of wedded bliss. We decided we needed to go on a trip just the two of us. So Feb 9-16 we headed to Maui!! It was the best vacation ever!!! We enjoyed fabulous weather, food, whales, ocean, snorkeling (paul), swimming, activities, sleep… We even rented a jeep and spent 2 days driving around the island and seeing such beauty. It was my dream vacation. Here are a plethora of pics from our trip. You can also go to Paul’s flickr page to see more pics… Can’t wait until we go again!

Every year my Grandma puts together a year in review book. All of my aunts, uncles and cousins submit pages. This years theme was Top 10 of 2010. Here are the pages that we submitted for the book with our memories of the year. It was a great year and we are so looking forward to what 2011 brings.
Happy New Year from the Mayne’s
Even with all of the crazy of the holiday season, we still manage to find time to have fun!

Every year Paul’s mom’s side of the family has a big family party. All of Paul’s aunts, uncles, cousins, and their kids get together for a night of fun. We eat, we play bingo, we do a gift exchange, and last of all Santa and Mrs. Claus pay a visit to all of the kids. Our boys look forward to this party when they realize it is the Christmas season. It is so wonderful to get together with family that you don’t get to see that often.
when Jackson told Santa what he wanted for Christmas, he said, “Wait, my dad has a picture of it on his phone” Then came and asked Paul to borrow his phone so that he could show Santa what he wanted. Ah what would we do without technology and we actually had to say what we wanted.
In December Eli’s preschool held their Christmas program. It is always so enjoyable to go to these programs. Eli practiced and practiced so he could say his part right. “M is for Mistletoe”. His teacher Miss Denise is so fabulous. She always arranges for Santa to visit after the program is over. The kids and their siblings love it!
They kids sang about 12 Christmas songs complete with props they had made in class. Eli did so great and had so much fun showing his family all of the things they had been learning in school. So love my Eli guy!
